Strategy: Long the Leaders, Short the Laggards
The strategy is based on fundamental analysis aimed at identifying two types of assets: technological leaders with a strong market position, and fundamentally weak or overvalued projects.
By simultaneously opening long positions on the leaders and short positions on the laggards, profit is generated from the difference in their performance (the performance gap). This approach ensures the portfolio's delta-neutrality: its returns are less dependent on overall market volatility and direction, focusing instead on generating alpha—net returns derived from the quality of analysis and asset selection.
The Leader's Philosophy
The name 'Liberty & Humanism Capital' is a reflection of my personal beliefs.
Liberty is a fundamental right and a core value for any individual. It means the ability to make one's own decisions, bear responsibility for them, and build a life in accordance with one's own goals.
Humanism is the belief in the power of human reason, critical thinking, and ethics. The ability to think rationally and deliberately is the primary tool for achieving progress and well-being.
Honestly earned capital does not contradict humanism or human warmth. The right to dispose of it freely is an integral part of personal liberty.
Methodology & Risk Management
Approach to Analysis
Trading decisions are based on a comprehensive analysis that combines fundamental factors (technology, team), technical patterns, and on-chain metrics. The goal of the analysis is to identify market trends and price inefficiencies.
Key Risks
- Trading Risks: The portfolio's delta-neutrality is achieved through a balanced and diversified set of long positions on strong projects versus short positions on weak ones. Losses occur in situations where weak projects show outperforming growth while strong projects stagnate or decline.
- Technological & External Risks: The safety of funds depends on the security of the Hyperliquid platform's smart contracts and is also subject to unforeseen events and force majeure risks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Vault on Hyperliquid?
A Vault is a managed portfolio on the Hyperliquid platform. Investors deposit funds, and the Leader (manager) trades on behalf of the entire pool. Profits and losses are distributed proportionally to each investor's share.
What are the management fees?
Only a performance fee of 10% is charged on profits. This means the manager earns only when the investors earn. There are no management fees.
How can I withdraw my funds?
You can request a withdrawal at any time through the Hyperliquid interface on the Vault's page. The request processing and share calculation occur at specific time windows set by the platform, after which the funds will be sent to your wallet.
How secure is it?
Funds are held in audited smart contracts on the Hyperliquid platform. The manager does not have direct access to your funds and cannot withdraw them—they can only open and close trading positions on behalf of the Vault.
What happens during drawdowns?
Short and medium-term volatility is a standard phenomenon. During such periods, the manager adheres to the stated strategy and risk management. Long-term performance is evaluated over time.
Should I withdraw profits periodically?
The Vault operates on the principle of compound interest. Any profit earned is automatically reinvested, increasing the base for future returns. Investors focused on long-term capital growth do not need to withdraw profits regularly. However, you can withdraw your deposit at any time.
